Poetry Reading: Martha Collins and Fred Marchant

Martha Collins has published eight books of poetry, most recently Admit One: An American Scrapbook (Pittsburgh, 2016), as well as four volumes of co-translated Vietnamese poetry. Founder of the creative writing program at UMass-Boston, she served for ten years as Pauline Delaney Professor of Creative Writing at Oberlin College and is currently editor-at-large for FIELD magazine.

Fred Marchant is the author of five collections of poetry, including The Looking House (2009) and the forthcoming Said Not Said, both from Graywolf Press. Editor of Another World Instead: The Early Poems of William Stafford, and co-translator of two collections of Vietnamese poetry, he is also emeritus co-director of the Suffolk University Poetry Center.
