Amy Cheung is a Lecturer in the Writing and Communication Center. She is also a doctoral candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and studies identity development and the relation of identity(ies) to the experience of education and civic inclusion. Previously, Amy served as a Co-chair and Editor of the Harvard Educational Review. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Amherst College, M.Ed in International Educational Development from Boston University, and Ed.M. in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to graduate studies, Amy launched a youth development program, A-VOYCE, in Boston's Chinatown, and was Program Manager for the Chinatown Storefront Library, a temporary demonstration project developed in part to advocate for a permanent Boston Chinatown branch library.
