Angela Saini is a science journalist and author. She presents radio and television documentaries for the BBC and her writing has appeared in
National Geographic,
Science,
Wired,
The Lancet, and
Foreign Policy. She has published four books exploring cultures of science and research into human difference, which have together been translated into 18 languages. She is working on her fifth book, on the topic of human classification, to be released by Grove Atlantic in 2026.

Superior: The Return of Race Science was a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize, and her latest,
The Patriarchs: How Men Came to Rule, was a finalist for the Orwell Prize for Political Writing.
Angela has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Oxford, and was made an Honorary Fellow of her alma mater, Keble College, in 2023. She also has a Masters in Science and Security from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
