Antonio Garcia-Cabot

Antonio Garcia-Cabot is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Alcala (Spain). He is the Director of the "Intelligent Mobile Platforms" research lab, which is classified as a high-performance group. His research interests include natural language processing, artificial intelligence, educational technology, and user experience. He has published more than 100 conference papers and articles in high-impact journals (27 of them published in ISI JCR journals). He has participated as a researcher in more than 36 national and international projects, in seven of them as a principal investigator (one of them funded by the European Commission and three national research projects). He has also participated in 51 contracts and projects with other companies or institutions, fourteen of them as a principal researcher. He has supervised three doctoral theses. He stayed during his Ph.D. studies in Lund (Sweden), Oxford (United Kingdom), and Helsinki (Finland) for a total of twelve months and has performed two postdoctoral stays (in Helsinki and Lisbon) for a total of twelve months.
