Meghan Gorman-DaRif is a Lecturer in the Comparative Media Studies/Writing department, and works in the Writing and Communication Center. She is finishing her Ph.D. in English from the University of Texas at Austin, and holds an M.A. in English from Middlebury College and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Meghan’s research interests center on representations of historical revolutionary violence in contemporary Anglophone fiction, focusing on the Naxalite Movement in India and the Mau Mau Uprising in Kenya, and her work has been published in the South Asian Review and Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies.
