Peer-Review Groups

Peer-review groups provide a safe and supportive environment to share work in progress and receive feedback at any stage of writing. Joining a peer review group can boost your progress by providing structure and motivation for your writing. In this small community of other writers, you’ll learn from the writing strategies of the professional facilitator and your peers, as well as improve the clarity of your work based on the feedback that you get.

Creative Writing Group

Writing creatively just for yourself? Trying to get your work published?

The MIT Writing and Communication Center runs a creative writing group where you meet weekly with other creative writers in a safe space to give and receive productive feedback, inspiration, and encouragement. Currently, members are working on short and long fiction (realist, historical, speculative), memoir, poetry, reviews and more. This group is facilitated by Susan Spilecki, WCC Lecturer and Writing Specialist.
