The Writing and Communication Center performs the following functions in helping you add a writing or speaking component to your class.
1. We can help you assess the needs of your class.
2. The Center’s director and staff always stand ready to help you develop an innovative approach to incorporating writing or speaking into your course to satisfy the particular needs of your class. Please feel free to contact us at writing-center@mit.edu.
3. At your request, a member of the Center’ staff will make a class visit to discuss a topic of your choice (e.g., writing a research paper, organizing a paper).
